Friends are helping me raise funds to purchase and distribute Personal Location Beacons in Altar, Sonora, Mexico. Migrants equipped with the McMurdo Fast Find 210 Personal Location Beacon have a better chance of surviving the trek across the Arizona desert. The device can be activated only one time. When activated, it sends a signal to the US government near Washington, D.C. The video is commemorative in that it reviews the highlights of the first 10 years, but it is also intended to lay out a model for other groups to consider as a means of implementing a vision of social change. WRITING PROJECT:
My book manuscript is now about 106,000 words. Six persons are reading, proofing, editing. We'll see where it goes. It remains to be seen if this will be commercial, university, or self-published. Scads of folks have indicted an interest in reading it.
